What qualifications & experience do Pinnacle Academy teachers have?

All Pinnacle Academy teachers have experience teaching English to speakers of other languages and have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate. Most of them have master's degrees in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) or in education.

Purchasing & Scheduling

 

How do I schedule a tutoring session?
Pinnacle Academy offers both individual and group tutoring.

Once you’ve selected and purchased your desired tutoring offering, you will be taken into Pinnacle Academy’s Learning Management System (2BeLive).

In the “Learn” tab of your 2BeLive account, you will see the tutoring session(s) you have purchased. Click on the session, then scroll down to view the available dates and times for that session.

After selecting your desired date and time, the session will appear in the “Upcoming Sessions” section of your 2BeLive homepage.
How do I reschedule or cancel a tutoring session?

In your 2BeLive account, navigate to the “Learn” tab and select your desired session. Click “cancel” to remove yourself from the session.

If you wish to reschedule the session, you will be able to do so after clicking “cancel” by clicking “choose a date.” If a student needs to cancel or reschedule and gives at least 24 hours notice, they will receive credit for a future session.

If a student needs to cancel or reschedule a session, it is the student’s responsibility to reschedule. If a student does not give 24 hours notice of cancellation, the session cannot be refunded nor rescheduled. Once a lesson has begun, payment is non-refundable.

What timezone is shown when I am scheduling a session?
Sessions will appear in the time zone of the web browser or device you are using.
When should I use my purchased session(s)?
Live sessions expire one year after the date of purchase. On-demand sessions will remain accessible forever, as long as you have a Pinnacle Academy account.
How does a Pinnacle Academy membership work?

All three tiers of membership include free, unlimited access to Pinnacle Academy’s entire library of on-demand products. A Premium English Membership includes 8 free group tutoring sessions (4 Conversational & 4 Integrated) per month, while an Unlimited English Membership includes unlimited free group tutoring sessions.
Can I purchase from Pinnacle Academy without a membership?
Yes, you can! All tutoring and on-demand offerings are available to purchase, whether you have a paid membership or not.
How do I change or cancel my membership?
You can upgrade, change, or cancel your Pinnacle Academy membership at any time. 
 
To do this, go to your 2beLive dashboard and click your name in the upper right corner. Click "plans," then "change plans." 
How do I pay?
Pinnacle Academy utilizes Stripe Payment Processing.

Stripe supports processing payments in 135+ currencies, allowing you to be charged in your native currency. Stripe accepts payment via credit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, and a variety of other methods.

What technology or devices will I need?
You need internet access on a computer, tablet, or phone, and a desire to grow in your English language skills.
Can I use my mobile device?
You sure can! If you’re using a mobile device, we recommend downloading the 2BeLive app from your app store. Doing so will enable you to easily participate in live or on-demand courses.

If you’re accessing Pinnacle Academy on the web, we recommend using Google Chrome.

If you’re accessing Pinnacle Academy from your mobile device, we recommend downloading and using the 2BeLive app.
