Learn Core English Concepts

Homophones are words that sound the same but have different meanings (such as "to" and "two"). In this lesson, you will learn about how to correctly use homophones through listening, speaking, reading, and writing exercises.

Sequence adverbs help us to understand the order of events in a sentence. In this lesson, you will learn to use words such as "first," "then," and "next" in order to effectively organize your ideas.

In this lesson, you will learn how to use the four basic units of English punctuation: the period, exclamation point, question mark, and comma.

In this lesson, you will learn about three more units of English punctuation and their uses: the hyphen, colon, and semicolon.
